hi,
I am a post-graduate holder, arrived HK after marriage in dependent visa in Feb 06. I was offered a job in a firm, after looking into my CV, but I found it difficult to process with the offer due to my dependent status. Is there anyway in proceeding with the same, in getting work permit visa? I would be pleased if you guide me in this as I have the passion to work.

Give it a try. We applied for my spouse when on a dependent visa While the immigration did ask for a lot of additional information they were very helpful. Your sponsor must be willing to provide all the information and then additional information if required to do so. We were pleasantly surprised as we had anticipated a hostile reception. We did use an agent though, buit all in all it was not a painfull process at all.
