Hello,
On my way to work today, I went through a yellow light that did turn red before I was all the way through, one of the stupid decisions you make on your way to work. I did notice a flash, and assume they will issue a ticket for this. Anyone know what the fine for that is? Yikes, I am really worried.

That's right - the penalty was increased to these levels in January.
But look on the bright side: two people in HK die or are seriously injured by red light jumpers each day (many of them children or elderly); and today it wasn't your turn to put a school kid in a wheelchair for the rest of their life.

It does seem astonishing that the fine for knowingly jeopardising the lives of other people is less than the cost of a ladies haircut in a decent salon.
