My boyfriend and i just got engaged and are hoping to go to abroad to get married with our immediate family and a couple of friends. We have looked at Thailand and Guam but was wondering what other options there might be which won't put too big a burden financially on those who attend. Does anyone have experience of getting married on an island or something similar? What about Thailand? Has anyone had any good experiences of wedding ceremonies there?

Thank you so much TC and Kanda 1 for your responses. I really wanted to go to Fiji though i hear it's about $8k per person just for the flight. I am British so i will take a look at the list. Thanks!
