I have uploaded photos of a plant I just bought in Hong Kong:

I think this is probably a very easy one for gardeners - but can anyone tell me what exactly this is?!

It's a succulant, but I can't remember the name.

Looks like what I always called by its common name - Money Tree (or plant). Also called Jade Plant.


If so, its Latin name is crassula ovata.

Claire, are you sure it's a money tree / jade plant? The adeniums which dogyboy pointed out in his link look just like my plant. It has a large bulbous root stem, rather than the 'braided' stems which money trees usually have. Happy to be persuaded either way though!
