Hi- pls can you recommend a good cheap low-running cost dehumidifier for 650sq ft flat.
I've bought the disposable plastic chemical dehumidifiers from Wellcome but find clothes still have mould.
I've only just started using air con, so is a dehumidifier necessary?

At the risk of stating the obvious, you need one in each room you want dehumidified, not one per flat.
A standard dehumidifier is rated about 400W. So if you run it 12 hours each day, it will consume about 5 units of electricity per day [12hours*0.4KW=4.8KWh=4.8units].
A unit costs about one HK dollar, so HK$150 per dehumidifier per month.
