Pardon my ignorance..... but I'm new to all this.
Our baby is due in Oct. Will she need one between 0-3 months. When's the best time to use Grobags?

kkh, I just bought 0.5 tog Grobag for 6-18 months TODAY at Bumps to Babes (Central). They had at least about 5 more hanging there on the rack.

xox: my baby is 3 months old and we introduced the grobag only a few weeks ago and only after his 10.30pm feed as he sleeps alone so safer than using a swaddle. But at his bedtime at 7pm, he is still swaddled (half-swaddled these days) because some babies like the security of a swaddle and for parents, it stops the jerky body movements of the baby from waking the baby up!
tog refers to the thickness of the grobag so you get the tog most suitable for the temperature of your baby's room.

My baby hated swaddling from the start so I dressed her in long sleeve onesies and a growbag since she was about 6 weeks old. If I use a 1 tog, I turn the A/C to about 19 degrees, for .5, about 21 degrees. She seems comfortable.
Now, if I use blankets, she always kicks is off and I'm up half the night covering her up again.
