Drink lots of water

Exercise (cardio & weight training) 4-5 times a week

Eat smaller proportions (this really helps)

Eat a balanced meal

Try Atkins or South Beach diets. I lost a lot of weight especially on Atkins and kept it off.

That's the rumor I heard about Atkins until I read the book and found out what it is all about. The book recommends that you go for a check-up before you start the diet and then do the tests again one or two months after you've gone on it.

Anyway, if you want to find what is the best diet for you, I suggest you read up and then go to your GP and ask if it is safe for you to go on any particular diet. I certainly did that and had my GP monitor my health.

Try the sunrise-sunset diet. Eat only when the sun is up.When it gets dark,STOP...very effective!
