Anybody has any idea on different games or art activities, apart from the usual pass the parcel, statue dance, duck duck goose, etc?

Just fyi, the theme of the bd party is sea world :)

Thanks!

you could decorate cookies with a sea theme - or cupcakes for that matter. I have some pictures of animal cupcakes - no fish however, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out how to make a fish cupcake of necessary. PM me if you want to see some sample cupcakes.

I usually make a 'pin the ....on the ...'game to suit the theme. My son had a spiderman theme one year so I brought a spiderman poster and made lots of little black spiders to stick on. This year I painted a big clown face for my daughters party, and made lots of red noses to stick on. You could draw a big nemo fish and make lots of stick on bubbles, the nearest bubble to the mouth wins the prize.

Also - games that encourage sort of "equality" are good at this stage, meaning, if you don't have any games where one person is obviously going to be the MOST talented (similar to Ruth's stick the bits on the fish.) For example, if you can have kids draw a fish on a paper plate on top of their heads, chances are, NO ONE can do it, but they will have fun doing it. Perhaps drawing a fish with their non dominant hand is also an idea.

Thank you all for your brilliant ideas!

I've got a long list of games now :) I don't even know if we'd have enough time. It'll only be 2 hrs.
