ORIGINAL POST

I'm moving to HK in a few months. am eager to carry on with yoga. Any good advice? I like a more 'atheltic' approach to yoga (rather than the meditative). I also enjoy belly dance and latin dance... Once again---any good advice out there?

Interesting you should mention yogalimbs. One of my yoga instructors here got her training at yogalimbs! Thanks

Pure Yoga does really good power classes. Also, there's a class on saturdays called wild lotus which is2.5-3 hours long and trust me, very 'athletic'... The regular power classes are also always a great workout

What is the Pure Yoga 'method' or approach like? I mean, do they instruct or do they just 'ashtanga'-it through?

also--does anyone know any place that teaches belly dance or latin dance?

pure yoga has many different classes on offer - instructions are always given, unless you attend the early morning ashtanga classes which are silent.

Power classes are based on a vinyasa flow style of yoga, but incorporate challenging arm balances, inversions, backbends, drop backs - everything inspired by anusara, ana forrest, baron baptiste - every class is different and I learn something new in every class - never boring and I've never regretted dragging myself to class. CHeck out their website -

Great information---I actually understood it, too! I've come a long way! Is there a Pure at the Penninsula hotel? (We may be moving to the NT).

There is one in the Penninsula - there's also one in Taipei - is that where you are now? Look for it on the website - good luck.
