What do you say?
I really need your advice. I've this perception in mind that gas oven is better BUT I find that there are much more choices in the electric range.

Personally electric. It's safer, easier to clean, heats more stable. You MUST have a gas cooktop though.

No worries at all with electric. I had a gas oven moons ago and have had electric ever since and really, no difference! Perhaps elec more reliable with temp tho as the dials are digital and altho you turn the nob to say 200 degrees on the gas oven, the heat is still regulated by the flame. Go for elec. So easy. Have used Miele and Siemens very successfully. Oh - and Bosch.

Hi, Have had gas hobs & gas oven; gas hobs & electric oven; electric hobs & electric oven, & my winning combo EVERY time is gas hobs & electric oven.
Electric seemed to give better results for traditional Brit. roasts , pies etc, & a roast potato is not the same cooked in a gas oven.
Have only gas hobs & NO oven now, & am very jealous!!! happy baking!
