We both live in HK but will be getting married in UK this August. With less than 3 months to go, we still have these to do : -
Invitation Cards - "save-the-date" email sent out 2 months ago but we need to get the formal cards out. Can anyone advise where I can get nice, western style type wedding invite cards printed in HK?
Wooden "mandarin ducks" - would like to give these out as favours as they symbolise fidelity. Where can I find them in HK?
Wedding gift list - as my fiance and I have already set up home in HK for several years, we really don't wish to receive any physical gifts from our guests in the UK. How can we say this tactfully and ask for "lai see" or red packets instead if they wish to offer something to us?

We were in the same position asn asked guests to contribute towards our honeymoon. we put together a list of 'vouchers' people could purchase in the form of a gift list and guests could buy 'romantic dinner in Florence' ( we honeymooned in Italy ) or " nights accom in Venice" we did get some duplicates but you always either have too much for the 'evennt' or don't have enough. we sent all people thankyou cards from the hotel of choice or included a card from the restaurant etc. we gave everyone the bank deatiils and they paid in the voucher amout with the voucher reference number as the paying in note and of course who had sent the money. I am sure that in this age your guests will understand the logistics of getting gifts back to HK and also thay you already live together. Hope this helps ??
