Can anyone suggest a small worthwhile local charity?
We are preparing a simple charity drive and want to donate funds. Popular charities enjoy good responses, but smaller ones often need help.

Please would you consider Animals Asia ? they are involved in bear rescue in China, getting the bears released from awful living conditions, where they are kept in cages 24hrs, for their bile which is used in Chinese Medicine. Animals Asia operates a small bear farm, where they are sent to live out there lives, as it should have been. Also operate a Dr. Dog, and a professor Paws program here, which sends Dogs into local hospitals, and local schools to educate people into the joy animals can bring to our daily lives.
