In Taiwan, they celebrate it on the 8th day of the 8th month because in Chinese this sounds like BaBa :)
The Chinese characters for "eight" 八 "father" 爸 are both pronounced ba

Australia it is the 2nd Sunday in September - so not EVERY western country has it on the same day Burgundy.
A bit sad for my hubby - as we don't celebrate it in June - wanting to keep the Australian date - but then we always forget because we don't have the media coverage at that time....
