For taxation purposes - if I am married but my husband resides in Australia do I still put in my tax return as a married person or does it not count because my husband is not with me in a geographical sense i.e. not residing with me- or does the definition refers to those who are separated in marital terms

What kind of proof could I show them? About contributing to mortgage costs etc in Australia.
