My spouse has 25 years of travel slides we would like to convert to digital. Any recommendations on shops on the island that can do the conversion?

fotomax do it. I had some done by them a year or so ago as a trial. Quite disappointed with the results and extremely expensive! If you can wait, then there are a few that advertise on the net from the US. It means sending them away with an inherent risk of them being lost in transit - although very unlikely if you register them. I tried several places around the region and none I would absolutely reccommend - sorry about that.
As for the DIY thing with your own scanner, that could be a great option but is time consuming. Hope this helps.
