How can I find out red mini bus rute & location of drop off and pick up point?

I serched by internet, but can not find it....

Not on the web. You can see the starting and finishing points marked with red minibus symbols in the HK Guidebook - but you will need to be able to recognise enough Chinese to identify your destination. You can get the guide at any newsstand for HK$60; here's the Chinese title:

I have a guide book. It shows only starting & finishing point. How can I know pick up point in between? There's signage for green one, but not for red one.

Just get on one day and ride it to the end and back ....then you can see where it goes.

However, it may change as the Red buses don't have a definite route - they can change it at any time as they are not regulated by the government (Triad run I believe???)

A red minibus license is ~5.8M HKD

Who has to pay the triads monthly?

The drivers or the 'owners' of the buses?


What about the green mini buses? Are they owned by different companies, who then pay a fee to the government? How much for a green mini bus liscence?


Why are there these two systems?
