Hi, my beautiful daughter Mia is becoming 3 on the 25th of June, can anyone recommmend a nice kids friendly fun Place that I can hold her BD at?

We are looking for somewhere, where the kids can play and have some fun.

Thanks,

Slade

Jumpin Gym always goes down a treat with my nipper - branches all over.

3 little friends (guest list devised by your daughter), at your house, play some games and let them decorate and eat their own cupcake. It's also free.

Don't mean to highjack this post...but really interested in meiquoren's suggestion.

Meiguoren, does local normally let their 3yo go over to friend's house? Or parent are invited to come along to the little party at home?

We had a lovely little party for my daughter's 3rd up at Victoria Peak Garden---way way up at the very top of Mount Austin Road. It was a butterfly party. I made the children wings, they flew around, we had some funky bubble wands, they hunted for cocoon's in the garden (like an easter egg hunt) and then had sandwiches, fruit salad, and butterfly cupcakes.

Of course an outdoor party depends on good weather and a party at a public park is better (no crowds) on a weekday.

Anyway, it was nice to do it ourselves, no entertainers, no caterers.

Given all this wet weather, does anyone know of an economical way to hire a room to have a few home-made games and cake? I don't like McDonalds parties (I hate the food) and jumping gym is also a bit pricey for a 3 year old - my daughter Sumatra is also turning 3 on the 25th of June 2006. I rang our local sports centre to book a squash court for a couple of hours but they said food and drink was not allowed. Any other ideas?

We did a Pizza Hut party for our daughter's 3 year old birthday, it was 10 in the morning and we had the whole restaurant with no strangers and no one to disturb. The staff did a great job entertaining the little friends and the birthday girl, the adults could chit chat and the food was great.

Hi!

Maylie has had her 1st birthday this last saturday and we did her BD party at Wise Creative Centre (http://www.wisecreative.com/). They are at Causeway bay. It's quite cheap as they just rent the place, full of toys, and you organize the party as you want it, which was exactly what I wanted. All the guest - parents, kids and babies - just loved it. One of them are even going to have their baby bd party there too, now.

I know the place because my nephew and niece go there for their drama class and Maylie just loves it there as she can play around without me shouting all the time "No, don't touch that !". ;-)

As we live in Park Island, it wasn't practical for us to do our BD party here as it is quite far for all our friends and since it keeps raining I was looking at a place indoor.

Next year, I'm even thinking of letting Maylie's attend to their french playgroup. I've met the teacher and she seems really nice. It does have advantage to help to pick up my sister's kids! ;-)

Hmmm... what else to say... well, I guess that if you have any questions, you can just call Jerome, the director. Or ask here. I'll try to answer you as best as I can. :)
