If you have an SLR or DSLR, you want a lens that is around 24 or less.

If you have a compact camera, try doing a panoramic picture and stitching them together.

Do you want the pictures to show/put on a website for prospective tenants? If so, maybe get a pro to take digital photos - only costs about a thousand HK$ and the quality (good lighting etc) will make it far easier to rent the place out than will murky, shadowy amateur photos that make every apartment look like the Bates Motel.
