I have a couple of leather jackets that I discovered had a lot of mould on them. I cleaned it off with some bleach solution, but it came back... any suggestions?

I had a horse enthusiast once tell me that mould on leather is actually a good thing, as it keeps the leather supple. She said to wipe it off with a cloth lightly soaked in ammonia and put it in the sun to dry, but not to get too worried if it comes back.

where do i buy ammonia? i know it is in pee, but I think that would make my jacket a little smelly...
