I have a new ceramic stove top and aluminium pots and pans aren't compatible. Where can I get some good quality iron / steel pots and pans? Everywhere I look only has aluminium based products.

Is Sheung Wan convenient for you? There's a shop there - I think in Cleverly Street - that specialises in these things. I will walk past it at lunchtime, so can check the address then if you want.

The little shop is at 60 Cleverly St, Sheung Wan (between Jervois St and Bonham Strand East). They have different grades of steel pans, from cheapie to pro quality.

Also lots of steel pans in the basement of Wing On dept store, Sheung Wan.
