Interesting outdoor venues for a birthday party

Could anyone please recommend decent venues for a birthday party. I want to set up a marquee in a garden or even on the beach in January next year - can this be done in HK? I love the outdoors and want to organise my own decor and table centrepieces etc...

Thx!

For beach parties, I think "Ooh La La" in Lantau might be able to do this...

The problem comes if you want to serve alcohol in a public place such as a beach or country park.

Burgundy, is there a restriction on serving alcohol in public places here?

Down on south bay beach there is a cafe/restaurant on the top of the changing rooms. They will do private parties and they have tables, chairs, candles etc and I am sure they will let you bring your own bits and bobs. The only problem with that venue is the loos are on the other side of the street. It is lovely down there in the evenings. They do bbq food etc. Not too expensive and they definitelyd oo alcohol and c*cktails. Drive to south bay and walk down the stairs to get contact details. They do a great all day breakfast. It is not super high class however. The other place to consider if the Victoria Rowing Club on Deepwater Bay beach which will allow non members to rent the room if members havn't booked it, lovely balcony looking over the deepwater bay. It is on the right of the beach as you are looking at the water.
