I was given uniphen by the doctor. Anybody heard of it? used it? any other medicines to help with drowsiness.

Yes, I have used it successfully a few times on flights for my little boy from around 6 - 18 months. Make sure you give your baby the right amount though as I heard it can have reverse effects (your baby will become hyperactive) if given in the wrong dosage.

Lots of people I know have used Phenergan, but again try it before hand, it can have the opposite effect and make them hyper. My son didn't sleep for 24 hours when he was smaller after taking a dose.

i think polaramine is safer than phernegan. but if you want something natural, you can always try camommile drop. just a few drops into the baby's milk and it's natural. i tried that on my son and he sleep quite okay. it wouldn't knocked him out totally but he sleeps okay.
