Not sure which sort of furniture you want. If you happened to look for info of the antique kind then you can go to Hucai Antique City in Zhong Shan which is close to Zhuhai; check out:

If have time restriction I'd go to Zhuhai. Macau buys from Zhuhai ;)
If you can (but need a plane) go to Ningbo, best area for furniture in China (quality and price).

If you go to Zhuhai on an organised thing, the guide will take a cut of what you buy, I found Macau to be cheaper and easier plus no China Visa required (expensive if you are a Brit). You also need transportation in Zhuhai.
