Moving House

We are moving house at the end of the month. Was wondering if anyway knows someone with a van who could help us. We also intend to get some furniture through this site. Can anyone suggest someone who can do a job on short notice.

I just moved my entire house, and hired a local moving company. I could not be more enthusiastic about the service: we didn't lift a finger. His crew wrapped and packed every single item, transported it to the new apartment, reassembled all the furniture and worked tirelessly carrying couches and tables around until we decided how we wanted to arrange it, then unwrapped and put away every single item. Not one thing was broken, chipped or damaged, with the exception of a small injury to a wooden table. He even hired and paid the carpenter to come inspect and repair it (it was very minor).


We were 24 hours total from house to house, in entirety. And they were HALF the next lowest bidder for the move.
