Click on "Control Panel" (which you will see under your name on the left of this screen) and then on "Compose a Message".

How do you direct the PM at any particular person? I.e. how do I get their 'address'?

Once in Control Panel, click on 'Compose a Message' (RHS). Under 'Alphabetical' click on the first letter of the person you want to PM (e.e. in your caseor mine M), then on the next drop-down menu, scroll down to Mayafox (or whoever you are sending a message to).
