Hi, I am looking for some options for my kids other than the regular kindergartens (sunshine house, woodlands etc). I read somewhere about an independent playgroup run by a church that costs less than the fees of the abovementioned kindergartens. I didnt get the details though so does anyone know of such things. I am looking for somewhat cheaper options that are decent aswel. thanks

If your looking for an informal playgroup then try Union Church on Kennedy Road in Midlevels on Mon and Thurs, think its 9.30-11.30am. Heres the link http://www.unionchurchhk.org/va_family.html
There is also one in the Methodist Church on Queens Road East, but I dont have any more details.m There are also sessions run by the PPA on Borrett Road, but again, dont have any more details on that.

The Methodist Church on Queens Road East runs playgroups on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. These are very informal sessions and are playgroups ie the kids just relax and play. Wednesday is the day for Helpers bringing children and Friday is the day for slightly more structured sessions for children over 2.
