Baby Clothes with Sun Protection

Does anyone use any baby clothes that have sun protection?

We have a solarveil sling, that is great for covering baby when out.

We have a hat which he likes and sun glasses (he doesn't like them!)

But when we swim, he is just in a swim nappy.

I saw an advert for: http://www.totaleclipse.com.hk

Anyone use these?

Any comments?

thanks

There are heaps of sun protection swimmers on the market these days. Given the bit of colour I got while out yesterday (for 1/2 an hour!) I'd suggest getting one for your bub. It takes some of the worry out of swim time and it get's much harder to keep them in the shade once they get on the move.

About the sunglasses, are they the wrap around ones? I tried them on myself and found they sit right up against your eyes and make it difficult to blink, I've had more luck with a regular sunglasses with my kids.

Have fun in the sun! Good Luck.

You should definitely dress bubs in the sun protection swimmers as they provide much more protection than just a swim nappy.... but more importantly keep your bubs (and yourself for that matter) out of the sun between the hours of 11am to 3pm when the sun is at its strongest!!
