Hi,
I'll arrive in HK in the middle of July. I'm currently looking for a provisory accomodation, let's say a hotel... until my job interviews provide me a position and a proper salary.
I was told about Tsim Sha Tsui area (which is cheap but seems overcrowded and very polluted), and also Causeway bay...
Could anyone give me some information about these two locations, or maybe another one ? Of course transportation and other facilities are couting...

G'luck with your job search. You didn't mention what time frame you require accomodation for. As for transportation, HK's public transport is excellent so don't worry about getting to places. If you're looking for more than a week, it's best to get a serviced studio. Lastly, stay far far away from hostel area such as Chungking mansion, etc.. if you're on a budget.
