Hi,

Is there any chance to find a middle price hotel in Sheung Wan ?

I can't find one, except 5 stars...

Ages ago I went past the Ramada Hotel on the tram and they had a sign out with long term rates that looked quite reasonable. Might be worth a call;

The Wharney Hotel in Wan Chai usually has low weekly and monthly rates and it is only 1 block from the MTR and trams. The Harbour View International House is also in Wan Chai and has monthly rates as well. I have stayed in both a few years back and they were adequate. This site also mentions the W Studios in Sheung Wan, though I have never stayed there, I have shared a flat in Sheung Wan and I liked the area alot.

Also Queen's Hotel near the corner of Wilmer Street on Queen's Road West.



All have long stay packages (7+ days) at HK$600 or so. Ramada has the best atmososphere (international standard) and the nicest rooms (only a year old); they have long stay rates on their website. All have very good public transport to Central - literally a dozen bus/minibus routes (and the tram!). The Queen's hotel is fractionally less convenient as it is on a one-way street, but probably the cheapest.

Garden View International House has cheap rates. It's in Central.

Also, I've seen a little hotel called Minute Hotel in Connaught Road, Sheung Wan (perhaps you can rent rooms by the minute).
