Ok. I tried Manipedi, and there are definitely plusses and minuses: I was very impressed with the setup -- the white leather reclining seats were comfy and luxurious, the personal TVs were a nice touch. The room is decorated just how you would want a classy nail salon to look -- clean, comfortable and elegant.

The problem was that the manicure and pedicure I had were really not up to scratch. My french manicure was pretty clumsy (the lines weren't straight and the polish was thick and clumpy and did not match my skin tone well. The polish also started chipping almost the day after; The pedicure looked great, but the girl nicked me twice with her scissors -- so deep it made my toes bleed! It wasn't like they were rushed off their feet -- I was the only customer in there! So I haven't decided whether I will give them a second chance. Would be interested to hear if other people have had a good experience there.

Go to Triple Edge, I have been doing manicure and pedicure there for 3 years now. I am very happy with their services. I have tried different shops but have to go back to Triple Edge(Mandy). You have to make appointment in advance (at least a day) as she is always fully booked.
