Yasmin pill

Does anyone have experience on this pill? I started it 2 weeks ago on the recommendation of a doctor - he said in HK you don't need a prescription for the pill and recommended yasmin as a brand that had good reviews.

Anyway, I was supposed to stop bleeding about a week ago and am still spotting everyday, sometimes pretty heavily for spotting - obviously this defeats the purpose of going on the pill...

Any suggestions? How long will this last? I know it's normal for some irregular bleeding but this has been constant. If it's not going to sort itself out by the 2nd pack, I don't want to take it, because I'm going on holiday in July.

Started taking yasmin about 4 months ago and I wish I had taken it soon. Do get regular check-ups though, especially blood pressure

I haven't been on yasmin long, about 4 mths. The first days i had really bad side effects. headaches, tender breast, vomitting. but now, everything is normal. my period is very accurate. no need to worry when it comes.

You can buy them at watsons/mannings here in HK. but i found it cheaper at my local pharmacy. $100 per box. U can ask your local pharmacy if they sell them.

i also had problems with yasmin. my doctor said that i need a pill with higher levels of estrogen than the pills that are availiable here. so no pill for me! definitly see your doctor so they can recommend a pill that will not cause such heavey spotting.

I've switched to Yasmine for about 6 mths. That's also recommend by my family doctor. Well I think that works well on me. Skin become better and no pain when period comes. :-)

As I remember I have pimples when I just started to take it, however, it only last about 2 weeks and my skin become much better after that.

The first 2 months I had the same experience as yours. By the third month my body has adjusted. It's been 6 months now, and my body totally agree with the Yasmin Pill. =)

Couple of months ago i switched from Diane35 to yasmine with no problems.. some pills cause spotting for the first 3 months so you should be fine.

Yasmine sounds like one of the best pills out there.. though im almost out now.. does anyone know where i can get this pill in Shanghai?? i have found Diane35 in Shanghai but with its reputation i dont want to go back to that!

sorry for the bad news but you can't buy yasmin in mainland China, looks like you might have to take a trip to hong kong.
