Hi Everyone,
I am the Best man and need to put together a three day bash buck's night in Bangkok as the couple is getting married over there. I have not been there too often (usually only for the food). It would be awesome if someone could give some tips for both day and nightlife activities over there that would be unforgettable for a groom to be.

The difficulty will be to pace it over the full three days, so that everyone's not exhausted/ hung over by day two. Maybe just do some gentle river sightseeing and a jazz bar on day one.

Thank you for all the comments. However, it really has not helped me much a lot. Everyone is associating having a Bachelor's night in BKK with banging and STD. As a matter of fact the ladies and the guys are having their night out in BKK together. We are not just some silly young guys but happily married with kids already. We are looking for great places to eat, great places for the day and some bars or clubs and EVEN NOT DODGY spas to recover. Some names of places would do. Thanks.

I can't lay my hands on my copy of the Luxe Guide to Bangkok but it has some fabulous places to eat and go out.

A river trip with meal at night. The Saxophone club for some cool blues or jazz. Take them to Planet Hollywood and pay a tip to get front seats to watch the show for a bit. A great laugh - dancing girls and drag queens and quite proper by Thai standards. Then maybe onto one of the better hotel discos where you buy a bottle of scotch and dance the night away. During the day do the temples and eat to your heart's content. Shoping at the weekend market etc. Anything to do with beauty and health is as cheap as. If you want to go further head to Hoi Hin or Peripheral Pattaya which is not particularly seedy and has lots of good restaurants etc. Hope that helps.
