What's the best / most efficient way to clean stainless steel fridges, cookstoves etc?

You can just wipe down with window cleaner or a mild all purpose cleaner.

White vinegar (Heinz, HK$9 per bottle in Welcome) also works well - as long as you can accept the smell!



As a last resort, for anything that still doesn't come off, rub with bicarbonate of soda and a damp cloth.

i have alot of stainless and always wipe it down with WD40, works wonders

Air hostesses swear by gin or vodca! (what a waste.)They once told me could have been joking?Tried it on stainless sink and worked very well but hated to see good alchol going downt the drain.


When I worked in a bar in Bristol I used soda water and lemons, worked very well as it de-greased.

I understand that baby oil is very good for cleaning stainless steel and getting rid of any smears.
