Washer / Dryer

I've seen the old threads on this, but just wanted to check if there's any new info.

Do any of the 2-in-1 washer/dryers (other than Witley's) have an efficient dryer?

We need a condenser type for an investment property, where there is no realistic way of venting it.

2-in-1 units are useless. I've bought and regretted.I've heard the Zanussi condenser dryer is good. Miele is best but toooo expensive!

Brandt is good. So is Thomson, a subsidiary of Brandt, and a little less expensive.

I was just in Fortress 2 days ago asking about the 2 in 1 washer/dryer. Accdg to the salesperson, they are not efficient. She explained that if the washer has a capacity of 5kg, the dryer can effectively just dry 2.5kg. Doesn't really make sense to me to have to do 2 loads of drying with just 1 wash.

Thank you all.

pzam, unfortunately, there is no space for a separate dryer; so we either have to get a combined machine or else tell the tenant he will just have to wear wet clothes.

He can always do it the old fashion way... hang his clothes out to dry on the clothes line. :)
