Please can anyone help me?
I recently had surgery (urology) in London and the incission has open up for a few weeks. I left it to hope it would patch up but I think it is now infected. I live near Sheung Wan.
Can anyone suggest where I can get good attention and where the fees/charges are not too expensive? Should I go to Hospital A&E or go to a general out patient clinic? Which is better?
What should I do?

I have phoned the QMH and they say its 570 for someone who does not have an HKID like me.
Do the prices increase for a private urologist like George Koo? Furthermore, is the HK$700 just for a one-off inspection/consultation? Would I have to pay for further medication, further check ups etc?

I would highly recommend the Union Hospital at Tai Wai (not close the Sheung Wan) - it is excellent service for not alot of money - a consultation with Medicine cost under $350 - not a long wait either.
