Tan looks sexy and healthy for some, but definitely not when you get it while you're working outdoors, which means DAILY exposure to the sun.
Tig--
- what spf does your sunscreen have?
- What kind of work do you do
- Can you use protective clothing while at work(long-sleeved tops, hat...)?
I'm not a big fan of whitening products, but for reference, check out this site:

Thanks for that. Im using 50+ and 45+ sunscreen for my face and bod. I dont want to get sun damaged skin so I try to use as much sunscreen as possible. Protective clothing is too much for me to handle. I work on construction sites.

You need high SPF and a high factor of UVA protection. The best sunscreen (in the entire world) contains Mexoryl XL (oil soluble) and Mexoryl SL (water soluble) and is available in L'Oreal products. Mexoryl has been shown to be more effective than Parsol 1789 and Ti02.
These products have been used in Europe, Canada and Brazil (etc) for some fifteen years. Not being a big pharmaceutical company L'Oreal's Mexoryl has only just been approved by the FDA.
You can check out the L'Oreal websites. Also Wikipedia has general information, plus links to articles.
BTW, UV protection clothing is very similar non-UV clothing so I don't understand why you think it is "too much to handle".
