Most Prestigious Restaurants

We are considering running some features on restaurants in HK and around the region.

Criteria:

- must be extremely high end (pricey)

- must be posh (a place where if you had a massive expense account you would take a client)

- must have a good web site

Please recommend top restaurants for any city in Asia.

Ed, to name some restaurants you are looking for is not that difficult in HK but the good web site becomes the major problem. Due to my experiences most of the high end restaurants are located in the five star hotels and therefore joining the hotels web site.

So, what to do?

In lieu of a web site, they can provide us with a previously published review on an html page... actually that will be better than linking to a web site.

As for authentic sushi restaurants in HK, as far as I'm concerned most of all do not have website.

"Kenjo" and "Sushi Matsushima", these two are the best of the best in HK, extremely high end, cozy.

Most anticipated restaurant in HK, "Nobu Hong Kong" is coming up @ Intercontinental htl this fall, I'm sure this will satisfy your all 3 criterias.

hi

depends what you mean by extremely high end...most of those seem to be in hotels. Opia is good but still in a hotel, Jia.

Harlan's is expensive, not sure of website

If you are looking for Chinese food there are heaps - Cuisine cuisine in IFC is expensive not seen website either.

I like FINDS in LKF Tower, they have a good website and posh is a not-stiff way.

Then there's Amigo in Happy Valley which is really old school and a favourite of tycoons....

Can someone please enlighten me? What price range are we talking about? HK$1,000/person or above?

kobeelle, would you mind telling me how pricey Opia is in general? It sounds like a really good place to dine.

Hi all, my husband and I just moved to HK. We are both celebrating our bdays next week. Can you give us nice dinner place suggestions? Also, I saw the 2 for 1 dinner Ad in the site with a list of restaurants as well - which ones are highly recommendable? Preferably Italian, American, or French food. Thanks in advance.
