Anybody know a good/reputable place to buy a portable DVD player. Been to Fortress but they do not sell them.

Doesn't matter on the brand name or non brand name as long as it's good and the quality is good. I don't want to buy from a "shady" place...i.e the exterior of the product looks good but it's a used body on the inside and it breaks down on me a month from now the there is no return policy/warranty.


Can anyone recommend me a good electronic store that carries quality products with quality service. I don't need cheap as my budget is based on quality and guarantee of good.

Ahh..but I don't want to get ripped off either. Pay more for the same thing I can get cheaper elsewhere. Hence the thread to get the best deal in town.


I'll check out Time Square though just so I can do more price comparisons.

If you have any 'dodgy' (read: Shenzhen) disks, make sure your player will play them as some won't. If you only buy the 'real deal' then it doesn't matter.

You can try Wan Chai Computer Centre next to MTR station. You can buy reputable as well as local brands.
