I want to carpet part of my living area with a neutral coloured wool carpet around 3metre by 3 metre and dont want ot pay the earth for it (want to have it finshed around the edges and movable rather than properly laid - ie more like a rug). Any suggestions? There was a place in On Lan St behind M&S in central,however, it has disappeared.

Hollywood Road is more ethnic. Prince's Bldg is western, but few things in that building are cheap. Horizon Plaza shops have all sorts, from western to religious. The western style shops in Horizon Plaza (sorry, don't know the names) would be my first stop, though it's obviously a bit of a trip from Central.
