i noe this guy since last year. and he started asking me out. i rejected of course. and recently, he said that he wanted to buy me a present or treat me to a meal on my birhtday which is 3 mths frm now. and he knew it. but he insisted. his uncle owned a gift shop and is quite rich too. so he could easily get me something expensive or treat me to some good food. i do not want anything from as i only want to avoid him. what am i supposed to do? he studies below my house too!! what am i supposed to do to avoid him?

tell him directly that you dont want any relationships with him, be direct if you really want to avoid him. Dont accept the gift and domt go for the meal with him.

do you in fact like this guy? Do you want to keep him as a friend? If you are not interested in him at all, just tell him the truth! Trying to avoid someone is very painful, rather keep him as a friend if at all possible.
