Windows XP - English

You might be able to change things over to English without re-installing.


(The following instructions are in English, so you'd have to find the appropriate name of the selection in Chinese while it's still in Chinese mode):


Click on "Start", find what should be the "Control Panel", then find the "Regional and Language Options". From the "Regional Options" Tab, select one of the "English" options from the drop-down menu. Click on the Languages Tab and click the "Details" button and select an English language. Click on the Advanced tab, and from the drop-down menu options select an English option. Then click "Apply" button and "OK". You made need to restart the computer before the settings take place. Hopfully that will change your Windows default language to display as English. Good luck.
