Am going to buy a car within the next few months and have my heart set on a Mini, however have a few questions:
1. What's the running expenditure of a Mini (excluding fuel)
2. How reliable are they and how fuel efficient?
3. Servicing and how often and how much?
4. Is the servicing a lot different from a local car (for example a Mini being European and parts hard to get hold of etc....)
If not a Mini then am a trifle confuded about which other small runabout to consider. I have two kids, do a lot of running around and want something that's fun.

Yes i mean the new style Mini be it brand spanking new or a few years old, like is said any advice is truly welcome.
