how big of a tv are you looking for? how much is your budget?? it just doesnt justify to get a 17 inch or 24 inch tv there. If you are living in HKI just the transportation costs you 50 bucks.(dont think you can get on a bus with a 24" tv...) i think its cheaper to find it thru auction sites in hk.

I went to Sham Shui Po to buy my fridge and microwave. I spent $850 for the 2, and I'm happy with what I got. However, if you don't care about size of TV, I'd just look on AsiaXPat's Trading Post- the people on this website aren't really looking to make a profit, but the ppl in SSP are! The main reasons I went to SSP for my fridge and microwave were a)my landlord offered to take me their in his SUV and help w the purchases FREE and b) I didn't know about AsiaXPat then!

You can buy a brand new 14" TV at Pricerite for $500 (if I remember correctly). The brand is Skyworth.

There are Pricerite everywhere. But I saw the TV at the Whamphoa store at Hunghom, Kowloon side. Better phone it first to confirm before you make a visit or try a store near you.
