Chefs or cooks - mixer / blender advice..

Ok, looking to get into some home cooking and want to buy a good reliable mixer and blender for baking and cooking. Have had a bit of a look around however would appreciate any advice about which brands are better - kenwood vs.kitchen aid. As these things aren't cheap I want to buy something that will last - my mother has had her kenwood for 30+ years!

Also, any suggestions on where to buy

Thanks

My Mum just replaced her Sunbeam after about 30 years too!

I've had a kitchen aid for about 5 years and love it, it's very sturdy and quite easy to keep clean. The speeds are very good and I'm more than happy with it.

I'd go looking in Shaghai Street, it's a little cheaper than Pan Handler.

kitchen aid all the way, we use them in our pastry kitchens, and had none fail yet, 5+ years of constant use (5* Hotel)

It's in Yau Ma Tei, not far from the MTR station.

Good Luck.
