As a girl of nearly 27.I feel like at the crossroad of my life. With a B.S,which is not of my interest,I switched to other industry right after graduation.I've been doing sales job in one industry and another, learned a lot. now I'm considering doing marketing, which I think my past working experience might contribute. yet at this age,I'm wondering if it's time to go further education and being more prepared.(many of my friends around my age take MBA lessons).
is there any ladies who is marketing prof? any advice is appreciated:)thank you.

If you can get a marketing job in a business that offers professional development, lets you go to seminars and on short courses then you will have the best of both worlds. My last marketing job was like that - great job to pay the bills and keep me busy and great learning opportunities that I could apply immediately. I know several people with MBAs that do get paid more for it but in my opinion these particular people really don't deserve more - they just did a good sell job on the employer - I would hire a person with good hands on experience any day because no matter how good the theory is very few people are good at applying it.
