We use a glider/rocker.

But if I were going to do it all over again, I would set up a really nice comfy arm chair that was the right 'depth' to support my back, and the right width for my elbows.

Now at 6 months, I do most of the feeds at home laying down on the bed - so he is relaxed and so am I.

I never purchased a rocker/glider because I was worried it would take up too much space and be a possible eyesore. I am happy I did not. Like crj wrote though, we had a really nice size armchair that was perfect when using My Breast Friend feeding pillow -- for both my children. And, I have been told that you do not want to rock your baby to sleep because it can be habit-forming. Personally, I say save your money.

Good luck!

I use my husband massage chair as a nursing chair. It's really comfortable, and I can put my feet up on the chair "legs" so my arm are resting while I carried my nursing baby. I still use it from time to time. We have put it in her room. Now she is 13 months and she love that chair. She also fall asleep quite fast when my husband is having a massage and holding her. ;-)
