Playpen

We use one and really like it.


Our baby is only 6 months but very active. If we left him for 30 seconds he would 'crawl' (well, you know what I mean), off his playmat and onto the floor, go to sit up and fall over! So we needed something :)


We got it at about 5 months and put it half around his play mat so he would get used to it... and gradually we put is more and more until now the door is closed.


I have now rearranged it so the toys are hanging from it and he has lots to explore.


He only cries when we put him in and close the door and walk away... if we put him in facing a toy and leave as he is playing, he is fine.


We think it is quite stable. The walls are heavy and very solid. The mat is not super thick, but with the playmat on top it is not bad. I am sure baby could nap in there, but bed would be more comfortable?


It also comes with an attachment thing that lets you attach it to a wall.


There is an optional tent you can buy that goes over the top too.
