I went to Dr. Hui to have 2 small brown spots (not freckles) removed from my face.
He lasered them off & gave me a cream to apply til the redness went down.
Then I was supposed to start applying bleach cream he would prescribe.
BUT, I got pregnant & was told not to use the bleaching cream until after I finished breast-feeding.
Unfortunately my results are only slightly better since the lasering. He said I would expect like a 70% improvement...I'd say it was more like 30-40%.
I will go back to him in a few months & see what improvements can be done.

ellie> I've had a few minor things done and I have recommended him to friends who have had botox, mole removals (including a huge facial one which left no scar), tummy tuck, laser hair removal, laser pigmentation, brow lift and breast reconstruction after mastectomy.
All have been very happy with the results and his manner. He usually runs later with his appointments as he is willing to take the time with patients - no rush in and out.
I know there are a lot of places in HK (as industry is unlicenced) where you can get this done, but personally speaking I would prefer a well-qualified and experienced doctor who specialises in cosmetic surgery.

Ellie> It's one of those things it's hard to run human trials on. Trials on female and male rats did not show that botox had any effect on fertility.
Re. pain from cosmetic surgery vs caesarian. I have not had either operation so cannot comment. A friend had the breast reconstruction which was physically painful but not as emotionally painful as the mastectomy.
I think the pain depends on a person's pain threshold, expectations and type of surgery. I have had one surgery and the doctor only gave me paracetamol so I think I would go with a doctor who is very liberal with the painkillers.
