I'm an expecting mom hoping to nurse with my little one, but am researching different bottles in case that doesn't work out. Has anyone used the Adiri Breastbottle? It looks like it would be great for moms and dads and of course babies. Website: http://www.adiri.com/main/index.php
Thanks!

Dani R, I bought a couple of them for my son when he was refusing to take a bottle (of expressed milk). Thought it would be a lifesaver. In actual fact, he knew straight away that I was trying to 'pull a fast one' and moreover, the bottles leaked (which was pretty depressing when I'd spent ages expressing). If I could find the unopened ones, I'd send them to you, but am not in HK for a few weeks. Anyhow, that was over a year ago, so it is possible that they have improved the seals or whatever since then.

Hi there,
My baby was on bottle v early on, specifically avent. But we switched to Pigeon Peristaltic Teats and wide neck bottles after he went on a 2 month milk strike and voila - he is now taking his milk well (for this week at least). The pigeon teat is soft and i think meant to recreate a mother's breast (ok, it can never be perfect but at least they are trying).
the only drawback i feel about pigeon is that it's not as travel friendly as avent, the cap doesn't feel as secure as avent.
good luck and i hope you will find success with bf and not havee to use bottles too soon!
