Sending curtains back to the UK

ORIGINAL POST

I'm having several pairs of curtains made here for a house in the UK. Won't be able to take them home myself so, other than Speedpost, can anyone suggest a reasonably economical way to air freight them, bearing in mind the overall weight will probably end up being quite heavy. Thanks.

Also with sea/air freight you have to use a freight forwarder, unless you have someone on the other end to collect it from the port/airport. And then there is the paper work, payment for customs clearance...

Crossed wires...

HK Post does offer economical, hassle-free service. A 10kg parcel is just $319 by surface and 20kgs is just $459. If there's no rush-rush-rush, it's good value.

FYI, DHL etc. would cost about $1200+ for 10kgs to UK.
